The National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Undergraduate Programmes in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.

For the Academic Session 2024-25, CUET (UG) – will be conducted in the Hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper) as per the details given below:

The details of the programmes offered by Central Universities (CUs), State Universities, and other participating Universities / Organizations are available on their respective websites as well as on https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ Candidates must carefully refer to the eligibility requirements of the programmes offered by various Central Universities and participating Universities / Organizations in this regard.

The list of participating universities is dynamic. Candidates are advised to regularly visit NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in, https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ for the latest updates regarding the examination and participating universities.

The CUET (UG) - 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The CUET (UG) – 2024 is being offered in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India.

The candidate can provide up to a maximum of 04 cities as options. The decision to run a CBT / Pen & Paper examination in those cities will lie with the NTA and will be dependent on multiple factors.
